- The Owner’s bought two log cabins built in 1806 and moved them 90 miles to their property.
- The inspiration for his house is rooted in imagining this scenario:
- What would a house look like today if a single log cabin was first built, then later a second log cabin was added with dog trot to connect the two cabins? Much later still a farmhouse wing was added.
- In contrast to this historicist structure, the upcoming carport is a modern steel structure with a vegetated roof.
